What does JoJ intend on adding to the game?
Well, being a total conversion, we plan to change most of UaW. Of course there are going to be a full compliment of new models and units from the Star Wars universe. There are going to be around 40 major planets for all the major battles. There will be even more skirmish maps than Galactic Conquest maps. We are implementing our own tech trees, resource gathering, unit hierarchy. We are also adding the value of terrain to the next level, there are many various styles of transporting and certain units like At-tes will be able to scale mountainsides similar to the new Clone Wars CGI and Hierarchy walkers of Universe at War.

Why did you guys choose Universe at War as your platform for such a MOD?
Kelathin: Interesting Story, when we started out. Capt Wildstar was just working on 3d max 8 models. When he came to me and discussed JoJ, his original intent was to make it for CoH. Well, CoH only recently got their model exporter. I sorta knew Petroglyph was going to have several tools coming out and of course Mike.nl, being the guru he is, would likely support the alamo 2.0

CaptWildstar: I was choosing from many different games including Company of Heroes and World in Conflict, but Kelathin give the idea of Universe at War which we had a better platform to create a star wars style mod coming from Alamo 1.0, Star Wars Empire at War.

Out of anything released, unreleased or work-in-progress - what is your
favourite feature/object/character in the mod, and why?

Kelathin: Well arguably my favorite thing right now has to be either the Arc Trooper or Grevious, they are both ridiculously badass at their current stages.

Mekanismo: It's tough to choose, since there are so many great props and characters being worked on, such as the Clone Engineer and the Jedi Temple. As an animator, though, I'm really chomping at the bit to get my hands on Count Grevious, Darth Maul and the Gungan warrior. So far I've been working on the B1 droid, which has been great fun but has required that I tone down any organic motions.

CaptWildstar: My favorite out of anything is hard question but I would have to say the Venator because I have put alot of work in to it and the Theed City since I always take pride in how much work was put into it to make it look like the city from the movie.

JediCommando: Hmm it has to be Anakin Skywalker its very well done model and high detailed.

Schrodinger: Well, there are a lot of things that I could chose for my favourite, but I guess that one of most important ones would be the City of Coruscant. Why Coruscant you may ask, well, because of it's architecture and dynamic. There is always something going, speeders flying everywhere, ships taking off to space etc. I also find it challenging to skin for example Jedi Temple, which will let me do something really worth working on and probably let me learn something new too.
